Couples Counseling

Couple holding hands

Couples seek counseling for these & other concerns:

  • Anger & Resentment

  • Alienation

  • Conflicts about children

  • Changing Roles

  • Considering Separation/Divorce

  • Infidelity

  • Chronic Illness / Injury

  • Communication Difficulties

  • Financial Problems

  • Premarital Counseling

Relationships can be so challenging at times.  It takes work and compassion to maintain a close relationship over the years, especially with the challenges of work, family, financial responsibilities, and finding time for yourself, too!  We all bring our history of experiences into a relationship.  When there is unresolved pain from the past, it can create difficulties for the couple.  Infidelity, lies, manipulation, neglect, and/or abandonment in the relationship damage trust and confidence in the partner.

Deciding how to move forward can be difficult.  It is possible to heal broken trust through work and honesty from both partners.  If you are in the midst of divorce, finding balance for yourself and your children (if any) may be your next step.

Wherever you are in working on a relationship, give me a call to schedule an appointment.  I'm here to listen and offer support.
